How many of you live with all 3 ACD lights?
How many of you live with all 3 ACD lights?
And what disadvantages have you noticed, other than the lights being on of course? How long have you driven with them on?
Mine have been on since I bought the car, the owner said they were on for him for about 15k miles. So far nothing bad has happened. I think the center diff does default to an open diff configuration. My car will sometimes spin the front wheels pretty badly in the rain, even in a straight line. If my understanding is correct, the center diff should be locked at that point not allowing that to happen. What are some others experiences?

I lived with it for awhile, but finally told myself I was going to fix it finally. It was only a broken wire close to the fuse box on the Drivers Side Engine Bay. Don't know how it got severed though.
The Factory Service Manual has a great write up on how to diagnose it, its simple and easy. The only bad thing is it might lead you into finding out your pump is bad, and that's a heck of a costly pump. You might find, like I did, its only a severed wire and get *lucky*..
Try diagnosing it if you haven't...

just a question, did you try bleeding the system to see if thats the issue? very likely during a clutch install someone didn't know how to bleed it and just left it. the lights will come on if there is air in the system.
Mine's been on for months, I finally broke down and bled it the last two nights. It was WAY easier than I thought it was going to be!
I'll report back, but otherwise used pump may be my only option...how much are they from the dealer? Anyone know anyone that can rebuild them?

Have not tried bleeding. The previous owner did say that it was bled after the clutch was installed. He was aware of the matter and did what he could to correct it.
A new pump is thousands of dollars from the dealer. I've seen them for ~$300 used on here. But what is going to stop it from failing as your factory one did? They appear to all fail at some point. I don't think it's the mechanicals of the pump, but more an electrical issue. Hydraulic pumps are pretty solid, they don't just go bad all of the sudden.
Has anybody noticed anything different when driving the car performance wise?

I would say that you should use your warranty to get a defective pump replaced...that's a ton of money for that part.
I had all 3 ACD lights on as well...took it to the dealer, diagnosed as a bad pump and replaced under warranty. Mileage was around 32,000 I think.
I've been driving mine for months too. I tried bleeding the sucker a couple times and it still comes. Whenever I start her up and rev or give a little gas, the pump would come on and after it stop, all lights lit up. Hate it but don't know what to do. I plan on driving it until it goes out and maybe swap it to the 03 version that don't have the ACD?
I had this. It ended up being the rear passenger brake sensor. Appearantly the circuits are all connected somehow. We did on ohm test all the way around and found the one bad sensor. Replaced it and the lights have worked properly ever since.
