Buschur Ported exhaust manifold, how much was YOURS ported?
The coating Buschur uses on his ported exhaust manifolds is excellent. Mine is almost 2 years old and it still looks very good. Its no longer as glossy, but there is no flaking or chipping what so ever after 30k of daily-driven street miles including salty Minnesota winters and plenty of touchless car washes.
What is the most impossible thing on EVOM?
For a thread to mention Buschur and it not turn into a fight...complete with David coming up with some sig about how he's the best, often referencing how XXX stole some idea and mention of his records.

Read the disclaimer at the bottom of the orginal post. I really am just joking. but in every good joke, there has to be a little something serious to poke fun of.
Buschur gets worked up, no arguing that. There is like a set formula of how to do it. It almost always has the same path/result in every thread. I was just pointing it out.
If you take his signature literal in this thread, it's almost like he invented the idea of porting a stock part...

not that anyone cares, but paying $175-225 for porting that manifold is a gift! Cast iron sucks to work with, very time consuming. Jesus could bring one here, I wouldn't do it that cheap. And god could be convincing.
I also think anyone who thinks making the manifold as big as the gasket, or does it, should seriously think of something else to play with..the Otto cycle is just not it. There is absolutely no way your going to get a real pro that has done anything worth talking about that would do such a thing.
Both manifolds look good. God bless the lungs of the man who does them...
