Clutch slipping

Well to start off, the reason I'm asking my question is because I don't think I can afford to replace the clutch anytime soon.

My question is...Will driving with my clutch slipping for at least a few months, damage the transmission or drive train? The slipping occurs when I engage it in gear for probably the first 3 seconds at mid throttle. (hope this gives you an idea of the condition)

Reason I can't afford a new clutch right now is because I just moved into my own house for the first time and I'm still finding stuff I need and getting used to the payments. Any helps is much appreciated!

ive been driving my car with a slipping clutch for several months now as well. i dont think it will cause any damage but dont take my word for it. as far as it slipping dont use so much throttle. i forget mine is slipping some times till i get on it and it just revs away. i cant go anywhere past quarter throttle or it will slip like crazy.

No it won't hurt anything transmission wise. But if you keep driving, it's just going to go and you will be stuck.

Won't hurt as far as I know. But one day you might be at a steep hill intersection and you will go backward with your clutch all the way out and your revs climbing. Not much fun, save up.

Will do thanks everyone for the input! I just wanted to make sure one problem wouldn't lead to many.

If the clutch is slipping means that the parts that are supposed to engage with the flywheel are off and the metal parts of the clutch are visible and are touching the flywhee....l maybe, so easily can damage it, be carefull and dont use then too much.
