DO hitting TC

I can hear the dp hitting the tc, I will be getting under there today to check it out. But what should I do about this? I have a dp to fit the acd so I'm surprised it's hitting. Could it be a bracket is loose? What should I do about this? Dent it with a hammer?

Thanks in advance

You have an Apexi TBE. So, I guess that means that it is an Apexi DP, right? Did you install the DP & exhaust yourself, or did you have a shop do the installation?

Denting it in with a hammer will help with the issue, or take it to a muffler shop and they'll re-angle everything for like $30 or so

So, the DP is barely hitting the edge of the TC. The top of the DP is what is hitting, so I can't necessarily dent it in with a hammer. Any other ideas?

Get it up on stands and get under the car. Remove the two rear DP bolts that fasten the bottom flange of the DP to the cat(or test pipe) and loosen the frontmost hangers. This way you will know whether or not the rest of the exhaust has been pulling the DP to the right. If that is the case then bend the hangers on the catback so as to pull the DP away from the TC.

Otherwise get a set of KartBoy polyurethane exhaust hangers for the Evo. But, only install the poly hangers on the side AWAY from the TC, leaving the softer more compliant factory rubber hangers on the TC side of the exhaust system. The harder durometer hangers on the off side will tend to pull the DP away from the TC. You can also bend the hanger brackets welded onto the DP and exhaust on the driver´s side of the exhaust bend them in slightly towards the center axis of the exhaust system.
