The P0172 is from injectors that arent scaled correctly and its maxing the trims or close to maxing them generally. Seems to me that it needs the timing dropped and the injectors tweaked.
Good information Aaron. I laugh when I see people writing phantom knock all the time.

a bicycle pump works too, why spend the money if you dont have to?

ok so if it is real knock, what can i do to eliminate this? I have looked around and seen suggestions of changing plugs, changing actual knock sensor. I just want to know what i can do on my behalf to try and eliminate this. The only thing is i am thinking that its pulling timing and all because of the fluctuation of boost that i have. I think the crazy boost spikes is somehow triggering the pulling of timing. Please correct me if im wrong.

here is a dyno graph of one of the runs. Notice on the torque graph the up and down fluctuation. It is due to the boost fluctuation. My ses dont start flashing untill around 6000 rpm. So from what i see boost is fluctuating and ses is flashing all around the same rpm.
