ACT 6 Puck Sprung vs Exdey Twin Disk
Six puck by a mile. Half the price and will last. Those twin disks constantly slip, that's why they are smooth, and then you will get 15k to 30k on it, and then the labor and another 13 hour labor bill.
I've been running acts since the 90's. They work fine unless you got some monster 1000WHP car and even then a 4 puck would work but only on a race track.
Sprung 6 puck I could parallel park and drive like nothing. Could not believe it but my left leg has had an ACT 2600 and now the XTSS since the 90's so if it isn't heavy I can't drive it

I ended up completely rebuilding a QM 8 Leg Street instead of running the ACT Twin. I still think it's a great design and I may try it over the winter but I will 150% be drilling out the "release/centering" tabs as that is the mode of failure on anyone who's had the issue.
They still dont have an answer but it is absolutely a real problem. I would really like to go back to a sprung hub as it's much nicer on a synchro trans wear wise.
