So the only solution for stalling is an EMS? I've installed the Greddy Type-S BOV and I had problems from day 1...and it was recirculating... Then I pulled out one spring and it whistled like a ****in' bird..

yes to solve the stalling issue u need some way to lean out the low RPM's when the BOV falls to idle. The air tha tthe ECU has calibrated for is now gone and the fuel is still there, so you need to lean that portion out.

Forge Recirc BOV is working great for me.... knock on plastic Boost comes on a bit earlier now and holds steady longer.....kinda like Viagra doh! Sorry bad joke.

We have supplied many of the Forge Bovs worldwide with no problems , we supply both the Bovs and the recirc / diverter valves to Ralliart in several countries , all Forge valves are serviceable and guaranteed for life .
The Forge Bov and recir valves are direct OEM replacements that need no modifications or fitting kits

I have the Turbo XS-RFL and i have no problem what so ever...If your car begins to have some surge problems...In the kit, they supply these spacers that look like giant washers, which are used to tighten the spring inside the BOV...over all, installation is very easy, also tightening the spring is also easy...

I had the recirculating Forge valve in my EVO. I sold it. No matter what I did it would flutter, bad!! I tried all the springs-flutter-different positions-nothing but flutter!!! Maybe it works for some guys, not for me or a fellow EVO owner. This valve flutters at any slight lift off. The stock valve works 100 times better than the forge, the only bad thing is that it will not hold boost at high levels. My 2 cents.

Only advantage that a VTA has over a recirc is that you may gain a few horses from reducing the turbulance(excess dumped air) from the inlet pipe as well as being able to completely remove the dump tube, I believe aftermarket inlet pipes do not contain dump tubes but only contain the fitting. Plus VTA BOV's make the really cool noise that makes people jump However if you are planning on running propane injection DO NOT use a VTA BOV!!! I wouldn't even use a VTA BOV if I was running alky injection, I don't want that stuff all over my motor.
Hopefully that helped a bit.

Incidentally, I use a 1G, which cost less than half of something like a Forge, does not flutter, and has been tested to hold way more boost than I will ever run.
