ive run mbc's to 30 psi and never had a problem. idk what you were using, i usually use boost valve but this forge was in the trunk when i bought the shell so i threw it in when i put the motor in. im also going with kelford's...i think. im very indecisive. but ive never heard anyone say e85 is only for bigger turbos and high boost. not sure where you got your info.

E-85 will make more power on a stock turbo as well as a large one. You can run a lot more timing on E-85 than on pump gas . Granted on a big turbo it will make a lot more difference since you can push over 35psi but there are still a lot of gains to be made with a stock turbo on E-85. The external 255 pump with an in tank feeder pump works good but not as good as an in tank twin. You have a seperate pick up for each pump on a intank twin compared to a single pick up feeding two pumps on the internal/external set up. Your single pump, 1000 cc injectors will be fine for your goals
why would you want to change to e85 with the point of increasing 20-30whp . I bet u cannot feel any different with 20-30whp. And remember , switching to e85 take some times and money , tuning, injectors, pump. Better call your tuner first about switching to e85. I already had my car tune 3 times already, and it is not cheap.

After tuning, It isn't odd to see 50whp+ gains on just the stock turbo.
If you search for some of my threads, you will see stock turbo E85 and pump gas overlays, same day, with same mods.
Some examples:
+69whp / +66wtq
+66whp / +46wtq
+66whp / +67wtq
+64whp / +60 wtq
+58whp / +79wtq
+56whp / +52wtq

thanks for all the responses guys!
I would just get the biggest injectors you can idle decently on so you don't have to replace them in the future. There is no reason to go with a smaller injector unless A) You don't want to shell out the extra 100-200 bucks the larger ones might be or B) You can't get the larger ones to drive well. I don't see that there would be a problem getting the bluemax 1650s to idle and drive well and even the 1850s with the tune box.
I only say this because I just got done going through 3 sets of injectors and now need to upgrade yet again when I build my engine (660s->880s->1150s and now need larger). Just trying to save you some cash.
As far as fuel pumps go, I am currently supporting up to 550whp with an in tank walbro 255 and an inline bosche 044. I will try for 600+ when I build my engine and upgrade to 1850cc injectors.
