e85 fuel needs.

ok. i know all the basics of running e85. 30% more fuel than pump blah blah. but for for this coming summer ill only be running my 8 for all intensive purposes as a buschur stage 4 with a 9 turbo plus basically every bolt on i can get my hands on(ported int./ex. manis, dumped o2 housing, ignition ect.). ive spoke to a few guys running e85 on stock turbos and have been told that for the setup a double pumper is way over kill and my intank walbro should handle the job. i was thinking 1000cc would handle the setup. most recently i spoke to a member who said he was only seeing 60% DC on 1000's and a single walbro on 9 turbo setup and was thinking of going down to 880's. i just wanted to get some more opinions if a single intank walbro can handle my needs for the summer.

If your just going to run a stock turbo than you should be good with a single pump and 880's or 1000's
I'm getting me setup ready for my FP red and E85 and I was told that I'll be needing a double pumper.

1 single modded pump and 1000s usually seem to run about the same spot. A stock turbo without a bunch of optimised mods is around 440-445whp on e85. Fuel runs out around 480, so it will support all you need. 880s on the otherhand seem to run out before you get there.

Single pump and around 1kcc's is all you will need on a well sorted stock evo 9 turbo, on E85.

If you HP goal is anywhere around 450 - 500ish on a FP Red you can get away with a Walbro and Bosch 044

i run the new fp red, 272 cams, full bolton, 30psi boost, full exhaust, 1200cc precision, intank walbro, inline walbro, greddy profec2. Making 462whp,450wtg with e85. My tuner said i have enough fuel up to like 550whp.

dont fall for the 500$ double pumper. It is unnessary. You can add an inline pump for like 150$ . This setup is good up to 550whp.

remember this kt, e85 only worth it if you run high boost (30+) and bigger turbo.

E85 helps power and torque throughout the RPM range, on any amount of boost. I have seen at least 20 whp if not more at 24 psi just from switching from 93 to E85.
