Walbro Double Pumper VS Aeromotive 700HP Fuel Pump

As the title says which setup is better for 600whp? Also is the Aeromotive used with a intake pump also?

Noise isnt an issue, just performance/price.

I've had great luck with the twin Walbro's. I recently got rid of the defective Hobbs switch and run them full time, dual fuel lines to the rail. 640whp. Simple, effective and cheap.

Dual walbros running parrell will be your best bet. If you want to save money make the dual pump hanger yourself out of the stock sending unit.

And how do you do that without creating a fire hazard? What I mean by that is do you have a link to purchasing the fittings that go between lines and pumps? I have looked everywhere for these to do just what you state, just don't want to make my car a rolling fire hazard. Maybe you should do a write-up or a "how to".

we've got a in house made double pump making 600whp right now on e85. it will make more power easily but our double pumper has to small of a line connecting the two pumps inside the gas tank. the twin walbros suck on the track (road course) though. our part throttle AFRs are all over the place when the second pump turns on and off. for this reason we are converting to the aeromotive single pump with a 10gal fuel cell after this weekend. in my experience the double pumps work just fine on the streets though.

There are a bunch of people making double pump kits now:

- Buschur
- Full Blown
- Blaqops (sp?)
- ASAP ( i think has there own)

Might be more but just a few to help out.

I run a Bushcur piece that's triggered by my AEM.

Why not just wire both pumps to run all the time instead of with a switch? eliminates your part throttle issue and seems easier to do then switching to aeromotive and fuel cell.

I havent done it yet with the evo but i did it with a IS300 that I did a gte swap in over the summer for a friend. the hardest part is geting the bulk head fitings to fit just right in the assembly but with patience it works out well.
