The hta3582 is smaller, so it's going to spool faster and make less power. Even the larger hta3586 will spool slightly faster than the 6262. If you're looking for max whp, 6262.

apples and oranges. drag car vs. street car. nobody else is going to run 8's on a 6262.

Awd also had a dedicated drag car while buschur's is way more a street car.

I don't plan on drag racing the car at all. As long as I can hit full boost before 5k and make 500wheel on pump only, I'll be happy.

Get a gt45r and be done with it then. It'll spool up soooooooo fast on a 2.3

The hta86 spools faster then the 6262 and makes more power then one too. So why even bother with a hta82

I've only been in a 6262 .63ar car, and it felt good. Stock block, pump gas, It pulled like a bat out of hell. I'm not trying to make 700+. If I do go e86, I don't want more than 625. I'm trying to choose a turbo that will do the job. The best one that will satisfy my wants will go in the car.
500 on pump only
Full boost before 5k (i'm on a 2.3L w/gsc s2)

ok and again. the hta86 spools faster then a 6262. and makes more power. thats exactly what your looking for. you want something like a 6262. the hta86 spools faster then a 6262. you dont want huge power but if you do the hta86 makes more then a 6262.

the hta82 spools like 200rpm slower then a 6262 but does not make the numbers a 6262 would. your already on a 2.3 so its kinda silly to not use the hta86 when the 6262 is in your thoughts.
