what power lever should you upgrade the ignition

i'm getting all my mods together for 500whp..

do i need to do upgrade my ignition at all?

the only upgrade you need to do is a fresh set of plugs and possibly gapped down to .022 to help fight spark blowout if your current ones are misfiring at high boost.

Stock ign is good but if you have it and want to make it better no misfire at any boost lvl cop is what you need.

i was thinking about getting this and new oem plug wires what do you guys think

you'd be wasting your money, the stock ignition and plugs are fine for 500awhp on a good tune.

dont waste your money on HKS DLI for that save a few more and go with sparktech system you will be happier.

+1. A well known tuner is giving you gold here, probably a good idea to listen.

Mellon is right on here. I run 30+ psi on stock ignition and plugs (stock gap) with E85 on stock turbo. It runs fine.

we make over 500whp on our dyno on stock coils... sometimes ralliart plug wires...

and we ALWAYS run IR plugs... no copper...
