Weird noise....

car runs perfect, clutch is fine, build was done 600 miles ago.

Making noise when im driving, it sounds like clamp draging agaist the road. , when i stop sound disapear, when i rev it it comes back. noise dosnt change when i press clutch in or out. the sound comes and goes, when i turn the wheel from dead stop it disapears and it is fine for few miles than comes back again...

any ideas?

im guessing inner pads are gone, i will lift the car after work but would it make noise when you rev? - im thinking exhaust maybe touching underbody heatshield. will keep you guys posted.

There's little fingers on the pads that rub the rotor when the friction material is about gone. Reving the engine shouldn't make any difference here. As you say, probably something to do with the exhaust.

na dude, revving your motor at a complete stop isnt going to mess with the pads, even at 2 step.
you could try jackn the car back up and listening from under the car,... but i wouldnt drive it if it was maken noises like that. you could try taking your hands and cupping the exhaust from the o2 and and slide em past the motor and cross members to see if anything is touching,..
(this would be done with everything cold, duh)
