^ I will agree that 4 years ago the Comp cams were ok cams. But like everything else in life, "if you don't keep up with the market then your products get left behind". That is truly what happened with Comp. Today they are not the best cam choice. For budget HKS and Comp are what they are, but that is "mild" cams at a lower price. They just have a low lift but a great profile... They tend to have a great powerband but lack the performance of more up-to-date cams like the FPRs, GSC, Kelford, etc...

Honestly if anyone was getting cams now days, pay the extra hundred or two and get a set of cams that are much more competitive.

i have all the supplies i THINK i need already: (not installed yet)

-megan tubular manifold

-hks hi power cat back
-ACT HDSS clutch about 3k in miles
-fresh tranny rebuild with 800 miles or so
-ams licp
-ams fmic

-buschur uicp
-tial bov
-buschur ported intake manifold
-bc 272s
-aquamist hfs-5 (tuned 100% alcohol)
-ecuFlash
-aem uego
I'm not so sure the FP Race Pipe will bolt up to the AMS Lower IC pipe, may require some cutting, just a heads up.

well thats why i got that race pipe AND still have the factory evo9 oem pipe.. so i could try either. plus i gotta also see which one will work with the o2 dump

Let me know if the FP pipe Race pipe bolts up to your AMS licp when you give it a try. I have the same licp and wanted to run the race pipe in the future.

Which cams are you going with? Springs and retainers also?

My setup will be sumwhat similar and I have kelford 272's and getting sum supertech valves and retainers.
