I read it doesnt fit the ix because of the ACD. I guess move the resovior over it would work.

It will just go over the ACD reservoir. I plan on making the next ones with easy removable tops.

I have the APS Intake, the build quality is hands down the BEST I have ever seen as far as aftermarket intakes go. The fitment, mounting system and build quality of the intake is top notch!

I wish more companies would jump on the cold air band wagon. The APS unit is a very nice piece. It would seem that with a little ingenuity that one can be fabricated pretty easily.

I guess the thought is that since the turbo compresses the air and therefore heats it, the need for a cold air intake isn't necessary. The FMIC will do the job quite well.

The main goal of the system is to introduce as much fresh air as possible.

My concern with the APS system is the potential for water to be sucked in when the weather is poor.

I see your location is UK.

From what I know, USDM Evo 2005 Evo 8 and 2006 IX have the ACD pump on the driverside.

I think overseas Evo IX are reserved with the oil cooler on driverside.
