Fp black or ETS kit
I don't have any under $2500.00, but we can build you a decent kit for around $2700.00 - however, I would recommend the spending the extra money for the equal length manifold. So for around $3200.00 you could pickup a journal bearing 6262 kit, which could make over 700whp or you could go with a 5857 and make right around 600hp and get the faster spool up

If it makes the power that you want to have, then its the turbo for you. If it doesnt make the power you want to make eventually then it isnt the turbo and you should save your money.
Not hating, its being practical and buying parts once. I know everyone changes their mind and always wants more but getting close to what you want or something that is easily upgradeable is far better than spending money you can't recoup twice (tuning, installs, freight, etc.)
That being said if you want 600whp "easier" a black is not for you.

well im sure, ETS, Us, And english have all installed a red/green or some other stock frame turbo that a customer really really wants and the next thing you know they want more and end up with a externally gated turbo anyways.
Black, reds and CBRD turbos are amazing for sure, I myself as a consumer just cant imagine spending over 1500 bucks for a stock frame turbo.

I think the stock frame turbos have thier place. I really believe they are suited to either stock block or the lower revving 2.3L motors. For anything that revs past 7,500~8,000rpm, I think T3/4 is for you.

I was thinking of pushing the stock block, but after looking at built blocks lately it might be smarter to just go built and go big. I'm on E85 now and would love to stick with it which is kinda tough when you upgrade the turbo and stick with the stock block.
thats perfect for me i can agree to that i def not trying to be a member of the 700 club lol my orginal goal was only 500 lol then i ended up buying parts and i just keep buying **** lol for the closet ill eventually do something with all this stuff. im do some more research on the 6262 watch some videos just to see whats its all about.
Here's the inherent problem with asking these questions on evolutionm. If you drag race or want to have bragging rights buy the T3 turbocharger. If you road race get the black and stroke your motor because none of the really really fast circuit evo's run 700+whp turbos. The other problem with this post is that you originally had a power goal in mind and when a few shops pitch in then you re-think your power goal; so now you want 700+whp because it sounds appealing, but can your wallet support it?
These are shop cars making big power and while there are independently funded 700+whp evo's on here is your wallet capable of maintaining it? The power may sound good, but you also need to build the tranny, its probably a good idea to upgrade your diffs, axles, and things of the sort. Plus I find that 600+whp or 700+whp gets boring when all you can do is drive straight. Turns are where its at and for that reason I would get a black.
Also the aftermath of this purchase seems to be that people want less power after making big power, because they begin to realize its just not useful on the street nor is it really enjoyable without being illegal. I've experienced this and I know a few evo's who have. My suggestion is to write down your priorities and then ask yourself which turbo is right for you. Think about the past, present, and future.

Depends on how you drive and like others have said, what your goal is. On the stock motor I rather be around 500-550whp and have a nice early torque without the need of a 2.3.
