i got mine ported just in case so its already done and i dont have to go and redo **** again. mikey is doing that ported vs unported test so we shall see im pretty sure its going to end with gainning more power you might be porting your soon tim. When you installing your stuff???

 

probably next weekend. ive seen people test ported vs non and usually isnt much of a difference

 

but is everything ported lol. ill have ported ebay o2 to ported hotside to mona lisa to angular ported head(mike@awd)to ported intake to ported t/b lol there will be plenty of gains there lol i suppose if thats the only ported part you have not much of a increase would be made

 

i have a 02 dump not really much porting can be done there. havent touched the i/m or t/b yet plenty of people have made 500+ on stock there

i plan on doing some head work next year when i go 2.3

offtopic: hey rockmanx has there been any real world testing on the mona lisa? i dont know if i want to buy the shearer ex mani or your art work lol just would love to see some testing first then i'm all over it! it is $400+ cheaper then the shearer mani, just want to know if it has the same results

 

to keep it plain and simple any tubular manifold is going to do the same thing. Make power. long as the grouping is correct 1&4 and 2&3. Also a full sized flange unlike most also the runners are as close to equal length as possible(does not mean much) but some people care. The weilding is perfect and jesseb has been making manifold for 10+years lol. Yes lifetime warranty. there will be test soon as 4ws is waiting on his to put on a customers car to get a before and after but i can garantee power. Im the only one with one right now. take 2-3 weeks to make them. i have 3 on my end already queued up for members already bought and paid and many on 4ws end quality is quality im not going to put my money into making a product that is crap

Runner 1 ~ 11"
Runner 4 ~ 11.75"

Runner 2 ~ 12.75"
Runner 3 ~ 12.75

 

Red 80mm...it's only $200 more and the power difference is plenty

 

I didn't realize that there was a documented difference in power between a 64mm Red vs. a Red with the FP 80mm housing. It would make sense though, wouldn't it? There is an elimination of compressor surge.

 

go with the red cuz ull want more power after a couple months any ways

 

wow where have you guys been Tim got a fp black the monster screw the weak red. Sparky i have not seen a documented difference in the housing just less surge whats more interesting is ported or not ported to be honest
