I forgot it was on the way back for the revision. I dont think it has gotten to me.

I dont currently have any cores. They are all tied up in testing still.
PM'ed you the tracking # - it was signed for. It wasn't a revision, new ACD tune. I'll forward the email again as well.

I'll be on the watch for it. It will still be the 3 map version that Dallas has been using. There are still contract negotiations for the 6 maps ROMs.

Ok john I'm gonna get cracking to send me acd ecu out to you. Any details on the maps. 2006 evo mr 6speed My car is on CST coilovers 10k front and rear. Factory restacked LSD. Power level is anywhere between 440 to over 500 plus depending on boost but usually pump gas at 440. Full race twin scroll Borg Warner airwerks s300 83/75. I was told I can drive the car without the ecu without any damage so I guess I can handle not beating it for a few days or however long turnaround is. It is a daily drive with track time with track tires. I have a few different sets and brands

The maps I offer 6 modes will be priced really competitive. ~$250

I guess the easiest way is to get people to send the ACD unit to avoid having your maps floating around. You can flash the unit with a 2.0 cable though.

Also I want to add that:

For whoever does get this service from me (I have a car coming this weekend for it already), if your car has to much understeer or oversteer, I can retune it to fit your cars needs. The maps on the 6 map option though are thoroughly tested by rally, auto-x, and road course cars and seem to have extremely good control not to much oversteer and not to much understeer. Also they were adjusted in real situations, so if one maps designed for snow, it was done in snow. If it was rain, it was done in the rain etc.

We can adjust the center lock to control oversteer & understeer of course per each cars needs.

Ok no worries. I just sent in my payment so I should be good to go on my end. Im really looking forward to testing this out next weekend. The plan is to start on snow and work my way up. Im guessing gravel will be well suited for my measly 255 zii's but we shall see. Thanks again!!

I just flashed my blue evo im selling. I didnt put the 6 maps in it yet, but just flashed it since its the first time flashing ACD.

I think people sending out their units to get flashed that own a 2.0 cable is a huge waste of time considering how easy this thing can be flashed.

If you have a 2.0 cable you just run the stereo cable jack right to the flash pin on the ECU and it flashes like any other ECU. Nothing special.

I guess if people don't trust themselves they can ship their ECU out.

Some pics:

That black wire is how you flash it. I removed the ecu to make sure i got the right pin out before doing it.

Then I connected the ecu back up like factory and plugged in the black wire.

Then flashed it to show it works

& its that simple.

I flashed the 6 maps to my Blue evo now. Made a little video of it. Whats nice about the 6 maps is, you can keep the original 3 then have 3 new ones. Or of course have 6 custom ones.

Don't really want to **** on your parade but keeping the original maps IMO is as useless as a non re-stacked or unmodified rear diff - like **** on a bull.

6 maps is cool but you might as well have all 6 modified. There is no reason I can see any usefulness in the original maps other than give the car the feel of FWD only.

One set of 3 tarmac and one set of 3 wet or gravel maps would be nice ...

**** on a bull? lol.

Well then all 6 will be modified then Also as I mentioned I will tune them based on what feedback the customer wants also. Meaning we can customize them for the customers needs if asked.

Similar to Matt's. Completely different mapping though.

That's why Its nice to just flash in your car though, so it can be adjusted/fine tuned based on what you ask for. If you don't own a 2.0 cable might be worth $ to remove it and send it out though for flashing.

If you dont own a 2.0 cable its probably worth shipping it though as I mentioned before.

I talked to Sabin and no one is supposed to have the 6 map custom ROM other than him and myself now and formerly Matt. So the odds seem to stack in favor of you having one of Matt's ROMs.

Kyoo, you as well. Always good putting a face to the name. Did you stick around for my runs at all?
