ACD Tuning Options - USDM CT9As, Read!
I wonder how this works when you have to go through the slalom! If I select TARMAC, sweepers are pretty nice and car rotation is really great. But, when I get into the slalom, rear end starts to jump around whenever I turn to the other direction. So, I end up chasing my tail through the whole section. Switching back to GRAVEL fixes that issue and I like the car better this way. Sweepers are a bit tighter, but you can still get around under throttle.
Now, if this FIX (I know it is not for EVO X) could fix both of these and kind merge its behavior, it would be special.
So, any idea how car behaves in slaloms with this?

we're opening up the center diff here so there's nothing on the drivetrain that's "trying" to do something. at the limit when you lose traction it will be probably be neutral, more depending on suspension setup and driving, but otherwise if the tires have grip it will just turn better.
that's as far as I can tell on my acd tune & slaloming. I had some looseness issues earlier but I think that was tires braking in and driving & shock set up. car just behaves as I want it to now. that's not to say it won't do a tank slapper in slaloms - it can and has, but that was more related to my driving.
as I still understand it, ACD tunes disable AYC function, so in that regard, it would probably stop your car from getting tank slappy in slaloms.
Hahaha exactly I saw Tom offer the 6 map for $100 and I ordered an acd ecu from ebay last night for $33 with free shipping. The second I get it I'm gonna ship it to him.
I will report back here with results.
current setup (which I love)
-365whp
-OEM size Hankook RS-3 on 8.5 wide RPF1's
-Ohlins DFV ( swift 8/9k springs)
-swift RSB (only 20% stiffer )
-whiteline RCK

Yes all I can say is yes! dollar for dollar I have not done a single mod in my 6 years of ownership that made such a significant difference for less than the price of 1 tire hahaha, if you are on the fence just do it please. There are no downsides if you are paranoid about pump pressures this program allows you to drive around on the stock settings too.
I love the way the car behaves it's almost like having a sport mode that actually makes a significant change to the way the car behaves, I do not find the oversteer overwhelming like others have said about acd reflashes. My only wish is I did it sooner for the price theres absolutely no reason to get this, Thanks Tom!!
thanks for the input, and glad to hear you're all right from matthew!
any events upcoming to do some before and after between the aftermarket settings and stock Tarmac?

I'm just trying to help out. I'm only making $50 on that deal and doing all the work (bench flashing, etc). I have to share my profit with the person who originally gave me the 6 map system.
As I said before also, we can mix the maps with our maps with people that want both. I'm pretty certain our maps do the same thing as everybody else's though. There's only so much you can do to improve the car drastically.

Let us know. Thanks!
@tscompusa
hey ts comp
have you made any new ACD maps since i pick up ACD mapping from you ?
I still have an extra ACD ECU i can send if there are new maps made...i pretty much run the number 1 map out of the 3 i got, i guess its the dry map.
let me know if there are any new mappings you have and pm info where to send and cost etc.
fyi
I've had the TSCOMP reflash i think two years now along with the restocked rear lsd and full urethane bushings, corner balance and coil over height adjustments.
the car is mad. the way every evo should be...i think an more aggressive lsd is the only next step i have.
