Now, who wants to lend me their spare ACD ECU?

Kicking myself for not sending mine in a few weeks back. Please return Sam's ECU to me please; he's too busy playing with his Mini anyway
LOL nononono. you are right though, I'm taking the Mini to nats next week lol.

Your having ER tune your ACD, I have a Gruppe-S Race flash on mine. TSCOMP just stated they do it as well. I have mine I could let you borrow. If anyone could let you borrow their TSCOMP tuned acd ecu, maybe you, or someone can do a comparison of these different tunes back to back? At the very least we can compare my acd flash to the one your getting.

Im autocrossing in the morning and then have a break next weekend so the plan is to pull my ECU and ship it out to ER on Monday.

I would be more than happy to help test the different tunes.

I'm also willing to send out my tuned ECU. I dont have a spare ACD ECU so as long as Im not stuck trying to race with an open center diff I have no problems with that. Well, and of course I wont be sending it out to any old Joe Schmo but would be more than happy to ship it to those I feel are trustworthy (you, Sam, Dallas, Noah etc.)

Also, Tscomp- who have you been working with regarding your ACD tuning?

Can you elaborate on what you have been doing to dial it in?

Im about to send mine into ER unless there is a compelling reason that I should give yours a shot?

Reading reviews from knowledgeable folks like Dallas has more or less sold me on the ER tune. Any additional feedback that you could provide would certainly be beneficial to myself as well as the rest of the community.

I am adding the 6 maps stuff and Evo X support as well. The 6 map stuff came from Sabin (the originator) as far as I know, unless he got it from Matt. Dallas is at the nationals right now for anyone that wants to talk to him about it or see it perform.

meant to catch him in person but forgot to - different classes and heats! will have to hear good post event report to see how it did on the sticky Lincoln concrete.

Sabin is the originator that Matt got it from. will that be on the ACD ecu I sent, or is it too late? I saw it was received, but I never heard after that...

Nats was pretty interesting for me being first time on concrete in a fairly under-prepped car, but I'm sure I'll talk more about that later. East course was so fast I sat on the rev limiter in 5 places. Threw my whole game off.

With the diff controller, I run on Tarmac (highest setting) and have the wife on gravel (medium). One run we didn't switch it and she came back in saying "car was all over the place". She doesn't like a car that slides, but it shows even after one run she knew it was different and rotated more.

Sunday we got wet on third runs so with the controller I had that great dial-a-rotation button. Put it back to snow (stock-ish lock up) for Chantell and ran it in gravel for myself.

We really love being able to have different characteristics for surface types, cold vs hot tires, dirty vs cleaned course, wet vs dry, her vs my style, etc

Great meeting you on Friday - good to hear it still gets the car loose enough even with r-comps on the smoothest concrete I've ever been on

Well I just pulled my ECU boxed it up and will be dropping it off at the post office during my lunch break tomorrow. I am very excited to finally try this out.

I was looking on ER's site for shipping instructions but didnt see them. What is the address that I should be sending it to? As for car info Im guessing you need hp/ tq suspension modifications spring rates diff setup tires used and type of racing? Am I missing anything?

Does anyone do core charges for this service? I can't have downtime for my only car.

You can pull the ACD ECU and send it in and still drive the car. You'll just have an open center diff and will likely not even notice on the streets until you try to get some power oversteer. One end spins up without the other. Did an autoX like that and it's definitely not right but doesn't hurt anything and won't cause you to spin or anything crazy.

Kyoo, you as well. Always good putting a face to the name. Did you stick around for my runs at all?
