If they do, it would most likely be because they had nothing else better to do. Seriously, who runs 700+hp and worries about muffling their WG.. Its one way or the other.. Its not both when you are talking those types of numbers. If you have a want, then I understand that's what you want. But to find that happy medium seems a moot point.

Forget the haters, I love the idea.
Actually bought all the supplies for my old eclipse but never went through with it!

I wish I did some logs back when I still had my dump to the atmosphere, but unforntunately I have made some other changes since then anyway. I do remember the car feeling slightly more powerful, but that could have been placebo who knows. I do know one thing, it was loud as hell before I recirculated it, like a freaking uncorked crotch rocket.

Even after I recirculated it before I put the 3 foot resonator in, it was rediculously loud though. Now it is bearable, but definitely still loud at WOT. I am willing to sacrifice some power to not be pulled over all the time for my car being retardedly loud though.

I ran my best time with my car recirculated and with the 3 foot resonator, so the power I lost by doing those things was more than made up for with an additional 5-6 degrees of timing and a few pounds of boost, meaning I lost much less than 80-90hp by adding the exhaust restrictions. Before I increased my timing/boost and was running a straight dump with no resonator I was around 123 traps, I increased timing and boost (about an additional 80-90hp between the two) and added the exhaust restrictions and hit 130mph at the same track.

Now you figure 80-90 increase with tuning/boost increase and at least needed a 70hp increase to go from 123 to 130 and that means I lost 10-20hp max from the exhaust.
