How much HP from Porting FP Red
Well this is something that only happens in 4th gear at like 2000rpm if you hit it, its because the turbo is trying to flow so much air, and the motor is choking on it, its not the bov.
I use a forge type rs it seems to hold nice. i pressure tested the car up to 48psi already with it, and no leaks. when i go SD i will get a tial as well, imo they are the best bov's on the market.

i did notice i was spinning 2nd gear like it used to spin 1st, so i guess you can say it feels more torque'er.. ( is that even a word? lol) the VDR showed different though, but my timing maps were all ****ed up! so who knows what it does now. i was only tuned for 12* up top and the rest was all 8's and 7's in peak tq, which is a dangerous tune.... for now im going to tune it myself and than probably drive it up to buschur and see what happens with stock maf. i know its on the last bar of the maf, but it should be ok.
No the spring is the same as the Tial I believe. It has two springs in it. It is not suppose to flutter because the lighter spring is for low boost just driving around town and the second heavier spring in for high boost. So ya there are two springs inside. One inside of another. I didn't take it apart but I'm pretty sure that is what Turbosmart told me

BTW - the stiffness on the TiAL is adjustable and is based on your vacuum at idle. I didn't realize I could choose a different spring when I ordered it and I basically have 2 sizes too stiff for my vacuum level.
wow thats awesome!...... i will definitely put that on my list for my new upper piping setup. Im going SD, im just trying to see what it does first on maf. i pulled the screen out atleast, so if the turbo gets hungry it has nothing to eat.
Shhh, don't tell anyone. The forums are too exciting right now with this conversation and the JesseB one going on.

Ya the bs going on in the JesseB thread is priceless. Hell I'm in bed with my laptop. This time it is evom and not ****
Ya the turbo tends to get hungry some time. When you look into the UICP look into ETS Short Route UICP. I love mine and it is stainless steel so its "indestructible"
