Sorry looks like I've got the double post bug today from trying to get on EvoM while in Afghanistan. Hopefully coming home in the next 30-45 days will fix this problem!!! LOL

I make 444 ft/tq at 3800 rpm and im above 350ft/tq til 6500. these numbers are from Buschurs Dyno. Its simply insane. Almost no lag and that power was made on 25 psi.
does the car feel different when you first start off from a roll "off boost" can you really feel the extra displacement?

thanks for the great help & advice everyone!!

With a stock crank that price sounds about right.

How can I say this..

Hell ya...

Crusin around off boost(while very difficult to keep it out of boost) it mimic's your average large 4 cylinder or small 6cylinder. Ever drive a NT stealth? Feels about the same - little less power then they have but a bit less weight. But seeing as how I have 27 psi at 3700 in 3rd - its literally like a stock evo8 with a small hotside set to full kill.. (only obviously flows like a red ) ... thats the best way I can explain it..

I have given a few people rides - I will see if I can get them to chime in from a riders point of view.

DO you have a dyno graph? HTA green? Id like to see how an HTA green on a 2.3 on pump only compares to a 2.4 red on pump only.

Thanks xroguex, sounds awsome to drive!! The only thing holding me back is the fact that the 2.3l is proven and the 2.4l isn't.. As of yet

I'm buying in two months and I am going to buschur for the build he recommended that I go with the 2.3l only cause it is proven

this is a very hard choice

if he told you to go with 2.3 then that means something LOL. I stand my ground 2.3 you know what your getting and long lasting life is ran correctly of course 2.4 is the new kid on the block but i understand why some folks are going with it but ill stick with what i know will work well and last 2.3 not saying a 2.4 cant but ill wait and see how others do over time

i was impressed with how docile it seemed just cruising around, awesome drivability, and just a very well rounded street machine....the best way to explain it when you go WOT, its like having a high hp turbo'd 4 cyl with the tq from a big block. you kinda have to remind yourself that you're still in an evo because the power curve makes it seem like you're in a built vette lol
