Which clutch to buy???

My EVO's stock clutch is definetely gone.
What is the recommended aftermarket clutch for a street driving application and will last a longer than the stock unit.

I would recommend the ACT clutch. It will handle 450whp and feels just like teh factory unit. Unlike other clutches out there that are way to hard to push in. All the DSM guys know that ACT makes the best clutch and I would expect the same in the EVO market.

We sell these units for a very good price. PM if you need info.

This is what we use in our daily driven street car.

On the street ACT stands for Always Crackin Trannys
I'd say go with Clutch Masters but if you've got money get the Cusco Twin Disk with fly wheel

Actually ACT has a way better reputation than CM. Just look on any DSM board and see what 99% of the people are using. It's always ACT and never Clutch Masters.

from what i hear, the exedy twin disk is the way to go if you never want to have to replace your clutch again. i have mine in my garage waiting to go in when i blow my stock one, which should be any day now

HKS would be my first choice, if you can't budget that one then I've heard nothing but good about the ACT

Clutchmasters is probably the WORST quality control I have ever seen. ACT is decent for something mild and cheap although I prefer the feel of twin plates like the ATS carbon clutch or Exedy carbon clutch.

When you say clutch feel "like stock", which ACT clutch are you talking about?

I run the 2600 in my GSX and I would say it is FAR from stock feel.

I would have to say ACT myself.

Thanks for all the outputs, I think I am going to go with the plate replacement from RMR. They do a lot of racing h er eint eh US, and they know what they are doing. I mainly use the car fro street driving. And a race set up will really spoli the drivability....

Anyone of you are using the RMR CLUTCH?
