I have exchanged a few e-mails with John. I just wanted to know who said that, as many here are jaded after talk of a TRE 6 speed upgrade that turned out to be vaporware.

 

I'm not aware of the TRE upgrade as you can see i'm new to the forums and from Australia, but after talking to a few Americans who were down here from superlap they all said go with anything John makes as he's top notch and also decent price (have to agree on the price bit too).
He's been helpful and straight up in any email exchanges I've had and as a result i can't wait for his upgrades.

 

Shep will be extremely helpful. If he said it would be done and take a month, I would bet money on it. This is provided it lasts in the track car they run. He will not put anything on the market that he is not 100% confident in. This being said. His prices are high, but when you are the best at what you do, shouldn't you charge for it? Also, the prices aren't THAT high considering all the work he does. Most of the parts in his transmissions he will rebuild from new, or at least have treated and hardened for longevity.

All his parts are top notch. Ask anyone on these forums. I highly doubt you will hear a bad thing.

i spoke to john a couple days ago and he said they are in the testing phase and so far everything looks promising. He said it could be next month or more just depends on when he is comfortable with releasing a quality product i guess.
