I can try and take a look at your EVO. Leave me a PM and maybe tommorow I can take a few minutes and figure this out. You may have a weak wastegate spring. A spike is normal but a weak spring will show a sudden drop in boost.I dont like the boost guage at the fpr, it should not be tapped of there.

Hi Hugo, now you know why I only recommend teh HKS EVC to everyone! Are you getting a new one from greddy? Where did you by it? Bring it back and tell them you want the HKS one instead!

an upside down bov will not cause any problems to the solenoid.

When the EBC was first installed there was also other issues, when you saw his car it was already fix and put back to the correct way.

For example when his EBC was turned on he would get only 10 PSI. And turning off the EBC would get him 17 PSI like its working the opposite then after Initial D shop try to correct it for him I guess its too late.

truth is that any competetent shop/tech should be able to easily diagnose any boost related problem with relative ease. If there are shops that employ techs that learned their way to the job through practice and no kind of proffessional training troubles will become bigger than they are. If a concern is not diagnosed appropiately it will become more expensive for the customer. Of course there are exeptions to this (many pro shops began from natural talent guys).
