This is going to be a DD on stock bottom end 2.0L...with all bolt-ons...thanks...I cannot make up my mind as both cams are good...just not sure which are better for the IX...I don't want to secrifice bottom end...put want them to pull up top too...any suggestions would be recommended...

I love GSC s2's they work fantastic..

that being said, I've only used kelfords on an evo 8 and they worked great too!

^^^^^ I think I would go with this guys opinion,LOL.

Side note, I'll be taking a road trip to CBRD. I might just sell the Green and get the BBK Full instead.

Bbk full and s2's here. Love it. I know this set up works but wouldn't mind seeing how the kelfords perform, so if u feel up to it throw em in and post up some results. If not go with what is proven to work over and over, gsc and Cbrd.

Chad...well since it is your turbo I will be purchasing I figure you know what cams work the best with it...BTW...I will be giving you a call shortly to finalize my order as soon as I clear up some of my decisions such as what cams to go with...lol...

Have you guys dynoed any eVo IX with Kelfords on them? The only dyno graphs that I found are mostly for the eVo VIII...and overall it seems that Kelfords make more power up top...

My car is a DD so I would like the car to be reliable...no surges no problems with starting...etc...etc...I was really considering leaving the stock cams in there as you told me that you dynoed some eVo IX at 380whp with the stockers...

By any chance do you have a dyno graph with the stock cams vs GSC's 2? From our conversation it seems like I would pick up 20whp if I do cams but is that going to be under the curve or peak? I don't care for peak HP...but 20WHP under the curve throughout my RPM range would be something to really really consider...

***I was also curious if I were to keep my stock cam would the BBK turbo NOT be used to its full potential? or would the stock cam be more than enough for the BBK turbo potential?***

Let me know...as soon as I know...I have your number memorized...

Based on the last cam-test by AMS (i think), the Kelfords had a slight more power very uptop but the S2s had a better mid-range.. So I think for a better overall setup, the S2s should be the choice!!

That was on the old s2's, they improved them since then and they are even better. I am ordering s2's next month. Stock turbo at 30lbs here.

I don't think you can go wrong with either cam choice.
