That's hwo they originally were. It's hard to fit an 02 Eliminator stright 3.0 inches plus a sizable dump but it has been done. I have two that were custom fabbed. I am going 35R so I wana sell them now.

True,
Most people want to use AC and be able to go between three different LICPs.

Mike's car doesn't have AC and had a MUSE LICP. Pretty easy to fabricate a huge dump tube when you have space.

I'm going to make one for a friend here shortly... It's going to be a 3" turbine discharge with a 2" dump tube on an Fp Black. He's keeping his AC and has a 2.5" (I assume ETS) licp. I'll do my best to make it fit. I'll try and snap some nice pictures to show some of the fabricators here how to do it.

There's no money in making o2 housings, I don't want to make them, and no you can't buy one, so please don't ask. If I can show a fabricator (probably Toxic Fab or MAP) how to make it work then you guys can buy them at cheaper than Walmart prices through active vendors.

I figured as much about the fitment woes with ac lines and licp. so a 2.5" housing, dumptube to 3" dp, 3" testpipe and 3" catback should be the least restrictive setup, unless you custom fab full 3" and try to make it all fit. Thanks for the response.

High psi, I'm sure you'll find a buyer no prob

The Works expanded out to 3" with a horrible step reduction back down to 2.5" which would cause quite a bit of turbulence. It was a poor design.
I know this is an older post, but I wholeheartedly disagree with the comment regarding the "horrible step reduction." The Works O2 housing is 3" from O2 to downpipe if you have both the DP and the O2. If you don't have both, it essentially defeats the purpose of either. If the OP was talking about the brass adapter for a non-Works DP and the OEM donut gasket, you kinda missed the point of getting both the DP and O2 together.

Oh yeah, it's what Robert runs on his car and uses the same brakcet support on the block that the OEM O2 housing uses as well

I just built a full 625 inconel o2 dump for my personal car using 2.5" for the down pipe section and a 2 3/8" dump out the hood. I'll have to get pics up. I won't get into the whole 3" v.s. 2.5" part...

Are you 100% sure the fitment is perfect? I read around here that you needed to push the A/C pipe cause it would touch the dump tube. Have you experienced this? How low does the dump tube go? Do you have any pics of it already installed on the car? And last why does yours look the way it does is it a different version then the one online today?

heres a pic see the difference in the dump tubes.
