Youre right, I did have to move the ac line 1/2" toward the radiator. That took literally 10 seconds to do, and is honestly nothing worth mentioning, its 5x harder to tighten a bolt down on any o2 housing than to move that line.

Thanks fellas for your inputs. How about can someone tell me why the jm fab o2 dump has two different versions of the dump tube? Is one any better than the other as far as fitment? Thanks again

From the pics of the EPM version 2 it doesnt seem like a true 3" .

Kind of looks like it tapers for the donut gasket.

There is no true 3" O2 dump if you retain the stock style downpipe. We offer a true 3" O2 eliminator and I believe R/TErnie that made himself a 3" O2 housing with matching downpipe.

Our 02 dump...

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ve...dump-look.html

It can easily be installed without removing the turbo, uses 3D contoured flange & doesn't have ANY clearance issues...If anyone has any questions shoot me a PM!

Just got an email from Jim regarding the different styled pics of JMF o2 housings on STMs website:

"We revised the dump tube about 3 months
ago and I am guessing STM didn’t update their site yet with the new
pictures.* We had issues in the past with the old style dump not clearing
some IC pipes and certain radiators, with this new dump tube it clears all IC
pipes and radiators."

I sent this email last might at midnight, and for a response back in 10 hours.

The one pictured above is the one I run. Below is the latest and the greatest, true 3.0 inch.

You will notice faster spool-up, way, way, way better tuning at max engine load as you will be less likely to knock, better topend and boost control. It is also quite light and getting that heavy OEM 02 Housing out of the way will net a few pounds off the nose.

Anything close to this quality will be over $500 and then shipping.

They are also coated to help with the elements and will be an awesome addition to anyone looking to make the most power possible.

FYI these pipes are designed with an aftermarket Lower IC pipe, stock units won't fit.

are you all saying a true 3" like the eliminator or the highpsi housing made will have more gains than the standard dumps like the jmfab? I thought a true 3" opening that close to the turbo wasn't that huge of a gain vs standard dumps

Listen, On a stock turbo, the JM Fab or the EPM regular 02 dump will be fine. You start playing wiht race gas or bigger Stock Frame turbos you want the true 3.0 exhaust right off the turbo. A Black at 38PSI is not a stock Turbo at 30PSI spike, you need a much larger exhaust and of course the stock downpipe setup slams down to less than 2.5 inches so just immagine the 3.0 flow.

I have a question for High_psi. I'm planning on getting an Fp black in a few months and I have Megan 3" downpipe plus everything else. What do you recommend better a 3" o2 dump or a 3" downpipe/dump o2 eliminator?? And regarding your o2 dump the donut area seems to be a 2.5" not 3" correct me if im wrong. Thanks man

I don't like the eliminators because if you ever want to take your downpipe off, its not two bolts that are easy to get to, but you have to take off the o2 housing instead. My .02

There is no such thing as a 3 inch dump because it has to neck down to fit a stock flanged 02 housing. Your three inch downpipe starts at less than 2.5 inches then balloons out to three inches. My pipes start at 3 inches and stay at three inches.

You will make a lot more power on pump and less likes to knock at max engine load. A Black snaps when it get's into boost, so it'll give a lot of load and back pressure, you will have an extra .5 inch of flow plus the dump to control boost and to direct exhaust out of the downpipe for more flow.

The donut area is indeed stock sized. Why not get one of my pipes? I have a used one which has about 1000 miles on it and a new one. I plan on a 35R shortly so I have no need.
