Decent bottom end build
Decent bottom end build
So I made a thread about upgrading my drive train before doing any more power mods but now I figure I should explore the other option of putting the power down first and hoping for the best. All I planned on doing was going 20 over on the bore, Wieseco 9:1 pistons and Manley rods. And for the turbo I'm guessing a Black is the way to go unless I get a good deal on something a little smaller... or bigger... so is that a decent strong set up. And what kind of power do you think that will hold on 93. Also considering meth so will this set-up be good for that?
What other supporting mods do you have? I think you're wasting your time unless you're planning on going past 500whp. The stock block will hold a good amount of power.
This post is nearly pointless without knowing your actual goals. You need to tell us your main use of the car, if reliability is a factor, how much power you want, rahrahrah. Elaborate if you want useable information.

I got pretty much all the generic supporting mods, Perrin FMIC, intercooler piping, intake, greddy turbo back and o2 housing, Walboro 255, 1200cc injectors, Kelford 272's, Supertech valve springs and retainers and Halman MBC. I'd like to see at least 550 on this tune, and prefer for the block to be able to hold even more. The car is mostly dragged but is also my daily, and I plan on taking on the aut ox course this season but probably only a couple times.
And I'm open to the idea of E-85 but as far as I know there's only one place like 15 miles from me where I can get it, so I wouldn't be able to run on it all the time.
