I bought a X bov for my 8 haven't put it on I will though if my idle stabilizer doesn't fix my problems with ny hks bov. I was told that it's nearly identical to the IX only difference is a different degree on the outlet tubbing.

I don't know about the X DV being loud? If you want a louder cackle and better boost holding, then you could crush the hat on a metal IX DV.

oh god, I had one of those on my vr4 when I bought it from someone else, worst sounding bov ever and it surges while cruising...total garbage, I wouldn't sell it to an enemy.

+1 had it on one of my old DSM's and its the worse bov ever. I have a X bov in my IX. Its the same as the IX bov but the nipple for the vaccum is offset thats the only differece.
