My RMR cat-back cracked!
More idiots here quick to criticize every damn thing. I am glad a few of you noticed that RMR did right. Having been to RMR for all of my work and almost all of my parts, I am CERTAIN that they need the exhaust back to see if there is a manufacturing problem or just a single bad unit. Either way, I am sure the customer will end up happy. Those of you complaining - wait until you actually mod your car before you start knocking the vendors...
Everything was fixed last night. He pulled the car in and we rewelded the bracket so it will never crack or leak again. It must be said that while it cracked enough to leak a bit, it still had quite a bit of strength left in the bracket and was not in danger of falling off whatsoever. Regardless, it is fixed now and I will confer with RMR about the bracket to make sure they know what occured to avoid anything like it in the future.
