I bought my FP Black new, without a core 9 turbo. It's unported BTW. How long have you been waiting?

I am on week 6 and still waiting for it. I know it will be well worth the wait. Just trying to find a time frame that people got theirs back at.

wow 6 weeks is nothing lol. I remember when the fp red came out and folks were waiting 20+ weeks lol. i see your still doing your thing itune on the stocker. when you plan on throwing in some kind of built shorty??

Yup...still rollin' strong on the stock bottom end. Have no immediate plans to go with a built bottom end. At the power levels i'm at and the shape my block is in, i should be good. My tune is very conservative and safe. Of course, **** can happen...but if it does, i will build then. If not, i will keep rolling. When i tore the stock bottom end down, my tuning proved to be very safe as the bottom end looked brand new(with 64k hard miles on it). I'm praying it continues to hold up.

any ideal on format if you were to do it 2.0 2.1 2.2 2.3 2.4

I would probably stick with a built 2 liter, honestly. I prefer the 2.0. It's hard to say though, each platform has it's advantages. I don't want to stray too far from the 4g63 gold standard. I think the 2 liter is really perfect for what i'm doing.

yes sir the next thing would be to upgrade to a LR2.4. lol im going to get this together and see how much more of a Demon this car becomes then maybe later on pending mikeys results switch to a LR2.4 for higher reving almost godly then. btw my thread updated new Custom AMS 4g64 (2.4) Headgasket came in multi layered

Congratulations on your build Itune, your way of thinking about power/safety is in my opinion, the right one. I'm subscribed to learn more about your progress.

I took the plunge, it's a Black for me. Your comments (and others like you) about it, help me in the decision, pushed by a good bargain .
