Our systems do not use a reducer either. We have done some tests and as the HP gets higher that small reducer will really choke off the flow.

Our full 3" system with the testpipe also does NOT throw a CEL, weigh in at only 24 pounds and costs only $750 in fully mandrel bent 304 stainless steel.

the monster sports downpipe is NOT 3" just for the record. it is 70mm and for some reason eveybody says it is 3".

So since the HKS has a reducer to fit the stock cat, does that mean that if wont fit a 3" high flow cat?

Better ditch the idea you need a 3" exhaust to make serious HP. Plenty of high HP 500+ without 3" exhausts.
