Its actually a good idea for a stroker engine. The evo 8 1/2 are really low geared already with my car is 2478 cc I believe and 9.8:1 and I run out of gears fast 120 is about 7k.

I personally ran the 4.11 in two different transmissions, each time the car was faster without it. If I can get to x mph before the same car using a 4.11 but lose some mph shifting to 5th but still be ahead of the 4.11 car winding out 4th I'll take it!!!

A wise man once told me, "To make the car move the quickest it can go, you need to find the shortest gearing you can go with that will still maintain traction".

Kinda miss the old guy...
