replaceing stock BOV
Get one from an 06 IX MR...it's metal and supposed to be good to 28 psi or so, especially if it's "crushed" so they say. Mine isn't crushed and I haven't had any problems. You might be able to find a used one on here somewhere.
I assume since the nipple broke, you have an evo 8 (plastic) bov.
Well what are your plans for the car? If you are keeping the oem turbo then all you will need it an evo IX (metal) bov. There are a few used ones for sale in the for sale section, that is where I bought mine.

You need to recirculate since or else the car will run like crap. And stay away from ebay BOV's. Even if you can make it recirculate you will suffer with poor driveway. It will operate more like an on off switch which will result in a jerky and annoying car to drive. Find yourself a nice used DV in the classifieds section and you wont regret it.
if you search this topic, you will find numerous posts about evos non responding well to vta bovs. stick to recirculating!
do not get an ebay one, it is an essential part that deals with the turbo which you do not want to fail. get a used ix bov for like $100 or new for like $120.
