Whats the "easiest" way par say.

Would it be to assemble the engine top to bottom, bolt the clutch and tranny and transfer case to it and install it from the bottom

Or drop it in and assemble it under the hood.

I have 1 and a half days to get the engine in once i get the head bolted to the block

 

Engine, cluch and trans all together out of the car. Slide them under the car and then up and in. Theres no way to attach the t-case and put it all in together but the t-case is easy to do.

I wish I had a lift. gotta do it from the top, bottom, and side damnit, and in pieces... ugh

 

you can take it out the top. tranny, transfer, and engine in one shot all together.

 

i tried pulling the engine out of the top. it was a disaster. glad i finally got a lift cause im hoping this will be alot easier this way
