I guess it is true, change the oil and fill with gas, you'll never have a problem.
Oil pump was original. Upon rebuild, I bought a new one. I will check the old pump to see the clearance if it still within specs. Most likely it is. All of the bearings on teardown were still within specs too. Not much wear at all.

OEM, but I think the stress of the motor up top stopping tore the belt apart.
Anyway, whatever.
UPDATE: She runs and moves...
The only problem is that I have to change oil in 20 miles. I'm gonna leave her here at work overnight and double check her in the morning.

208,000 miles and running again.....
Good to see car is back running again.. atleast we know our motors can last 200k when taken care of which is good news to other DD drivers. Im just about to hit 90k and I thought I was up there in miles haha I still got a long way to go to break ur record LOL
every 60k so 60, 120, 180, it snapped right at the next due date.. im curious how long he actually had it before it snapped though. I know some guys that went 120k without changing..... and if thats not bad enough when they did change it they didnt change any accessories with it.
