Slight clunk coming from engine bay?

Yesterday as I began pulling away from a red light I heard a very slight clunk come from my engine bay, as if my motor mounts are going bad. It happened again the same way when I pulled away from the next standing stop, which I did slowly. I tried revving the engine a bit while stationary and rocking the car by hitting the brakes a bit hard several times to see if I could force the engine to shift on the mounts but strangely the car seemed perfectly normal. It only happens when I get the car moving slowly in first gear. This is not a clutch noise or the infamous differential clunk, that much is certain. Work has been keeping me busy but I'm going to get under hood asap to check myself, just wondering if anybody has had experience with this before. Thanks in advance guys.

Check the torque on the underbody braces and strut tower brace. Also make sure down pipe isn't hitting anything.

Checked everything within reach under the car and in the engine bay. No dice, everything's rock solid. The only thing left that I can think of is the connection between my transmission and my driveshaft. Really hope it's not that though. Has anyone heard of that going bad before?
