I've had Walbro pumps in all 3 of my Evos...I can't say that they don't work well. Given that you've gotten 5 years out of the first, you have definitely gotten your money's worth. Just pop a new one in there and you won't need to worry at all.

wow should i be worried? Mine is over 5 years old and has about 80k miles on it. I would thing fuel pumps is not something your supose to change on a reguilay basics.

fuel pumps go out in cars all the time people like to run there tank low alot and as you no the fuel cools the pump so thats one quick way to wear them out its cheap insurance man this is a performance car do you really want your fuel pump to go out during a pull on the dyno or at the track.

it really depends how much hard you drive and how low you let your gas get before filling up. But after 5 years spending 80 bucks for a new one wont hurt
