Need Help: Oil Hole on Block
Need Help: Oil Hole on Block
I apologize for the lack of a better term for it but here's the picture

I need to know what's in that hole I circled. A buddy of mine brought his car over because of a terrible oil leak and cannot figure out where its coming from. Everything on the turbo looked fine and when I removed it, I remembered seeing a bolt in there on my own evo. If anyone knows what goes in there or maybe how long of a bolt needs to go in there i'd really appreciate it!

Someone must have forgotten to put the plug back in after checking the balance shaft. The screw is missing , that's all. Put a new one in.
Procedure:
completing installation of the valve timing belt.
Procedure:
After aligning the timing marks of the engine oil pump
sprocket, remove the cylinder block plug and insert a Phillips
screw driver with a shaft diameter of 8 mm (0.31 inch)
through the plug hole to check that the shaft of the screw
driver can be inserted for 60 mm (2.36 inches) or more. If
the screw driver makes contact with the balancer shaft and
can be inserted for only 20

the engine oil pump sprocket for one round and align timing
