Well, they ARE expensive. $30 for the filter and then they charge $10 shipping and "handling" (yeah....handling my MONEY!) Anyway, I splurged and ordered one from Summit....what the hell. Thanks for directing me to where they've got 'em. If anyone finds a cheaper source, it'd be good for other members.

I use this. I haven't cut open my oil filter yet to see the metal shavings. I'm sure it couldnt hurt to have one of these, especially for about $30.

I use the Mobil 104; just don't like the $9 cost. Anyone know where I can order these in mass to save some $$?

Those that have bought from the dealership, what did you pay for filters?

Just heard back from my dealer.

oil filters are $5.75

Think I should load up on them? Sounds like most think they're good quality.
