Rods, bearings. are you upgrading head studs? are you looking to do main studs? what are your power goals? Is this a drag car? track car?.....I mean there is lots to answer on that

this car is my daily driver so i want it as safe as possible but able to have a little fun. i have been to the drag strip i this before and not satisfied on how well it performed stock. its still not tuned with the cams and injectors not installed. then i got a good deal on these pistons that i couldnt turn on. im just wondering what good parts should i put in along with the pistons, and will the crank be able to handle new pistons and rods. also what other little parts would i need to get a good/ decent highway car.

what parts would be recommended for this build?

You should do all the above for a complete proper engine build. What's being built a 4g63 or 4g64 block, is it standard or stroked, also are the pistons hd 1400 weisco drop ins/ does it have an increase bore size ? Answer these questions and teal2nnr questions and should get better detailed information and advice.

i got the :

Evo 8 & 9 2003-07 (9.0:1 compression) (200" thick wall pins included) over size .020

the Block is the 4g63 standard not stroked

i would like to piece the car together and start buying some of the parts, i have arp headstuds right now that i was saving for my cams.

my biggest questions what are the better parts to help peice this together i know mostly everyone has seen the good and bad. i was looking at some rods earlier but i would rather go with what works rather than spend money on junk.

this car is mostly driven on highway. thats where my goals are right now is to have a safe, nasty car.

Ok, correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like you want to do a budget build for a DD that occassionaly goes to the track. And you currently have the weisco upgrade pistons, well you might as well put them to use. Here's what I would do to complete a 2.0 short block given your situation.

Rods: Maperformance ultimate duty billet rods or Manley Turbo Tuff rods

Rod Bearings & main bearings: Maperformance acl kit to use with the maperformance rods

Arp head studs and main studs

Oem Crank

When your ready to do the head just go with gsc 2 cams with the springs kit and call it a day.

Since you have oversize pistons, the whole engine will need to be removed from the car and brought to a machine shop. It will a whole lot more in labor than doing just drop ins. So you might as well get all new bearings, rods, and seals. Labor alone will be at least a couple thousand dollars.

Thing is right now with the pistons you've bought, the motor HAS to go to a machine shop to get bored over.....I've never been a fan of boring over a block unless it needs it, since if anything happens and you scrap the walls of your block and have to bore again...you now have to use 86mm pistons (or 85.5's) and make it even thinner....

Anyway....if you're on a budget i would say Manley turbo tuffs (good rod for the price) or even Eagle for a bargain basement rod. If your not pushing say over 450 Whp you can use the stock bolts instead of upgrading to Main studs (not like its expensive, but it adds to the machining costs).

Buy a set of L19 ARP Headstuds since the motor will be apart anyway....ACL race bearings....i mean the list really goes on and on....Its not cheap to build the bottom end on a car per say...and if you're like me its always "well while im in here i might as well upgrade this,.....and that...etc"

I wouldn't base your build around a set of pistons that you got for a "good Deal" only because there is allot more to it then a set of pistons

You will save alot of money doing dropins. However alot of people don't recommend that with higher mileage. It looks like you have an 03. How many miles are on it?

Yeah, with those you gotta remove/strip/machine the block. Since you are tearing down. Oil pump, timing kit, water pump, ACL bearings(if you can find them),rods, etc.

But really, how much power do you need/want?

Thats what I did. I hit about 450 whp and at like 22k miles and decided I want 800whp. So I built the crap outta my block, and more or less I played the "while everything is apart game"

Buschur Block with Manley 300m 1300 HP rods.
Fully ported head with Ferrea / Kiggly valvetrain and GSC s2 cams
Magnus Cast v5 manifold
Boomba 75mm TB
JDL Auto forward facing mani with vband 6262
ID2000 CC injectors
Bushwacker tranny
QM Twin disk.
