Well the noise went away but it runs a little ruff shaking the car alittle. Timing was right on so thats good. But that was one of the small problems.

The real problem I started with was that I relocated the battery to the trunk and afterwards I only had 12.3v Now I have a 2 guage wire running from front to rear. Reason I moved the battery was bc I installed a UICP which had to have the battery relocated. So its in the trunk now with a 2 guage power and ground wire. Ground it connected to the cross bar between the seat and truk, was drilled through and I grounded all the paint off for a good connection.
Then after everything was installed the car was running 12.3v all the time, and not at 13-14v like normal. Car would continued to run till it drained battery. Used a volt meter on test alternator and it read 2.03v which is odd, wasnt even showing 12.3v like the battery. Thinking that the alternator was the problem bought a new one off here with 18k on it. But when I removed the old one took them both to Autozone to have tested and BOTH passed! So I installed new one hoping that the test at AZ was bad, but still same problem. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT CAN BE. Any one have a problem like this before?

Did you try a new, known good battery? I had this problem a couple months ago, and it turned out that my battery had given its last gasp. I also have a trunk mounted battery. This is how I chose to ground it:

Four wires are on the Positive side of old battery terminal. One in the middle is to the starter, not fused. The other three are fused at the terminal. One of these goes to the alternator, should be fused, check the fuse at the old terminal.
