FP BLack users question?

I have an FP Red right now with bolt ons and meth, but sometime in the next year I'm going to switch to a 2.1l build and an FP black. My question is what size injectors am I going to need to reach my goal of 500+whp? I have read all kinds of threads about it already, but is there a preferred size for driveability and that hp(i.e. 1050s, 1250s, 2150s, etc..) Right now for the FP Red I have Pte 780s, walboro fuel pump, and stock fuel rail. Thanks for the input ahead of time guys

FIC 1050 CC's will get you there no problem. I currently have them and am making 441 WHP stock block/ stock head and I am at 68% duty cycle on my injectors.

hey binky...I read alot about your setup I need to go find it again. I'm glad you said that cause I have some brand new FIC 1050s sitting in my room haha. Why do people go bigger than that then and are still in the mid 500whp range?

to op, your 1050 are fine with pump gas. You should consider a double pumper from Buschur. They are a great addition

I've seen a bunch of FP Red setups on here with 780cc injectors making that much hp on stock blocks with no meth, so I don't see why not?

Is that 100% needed for my goal?

Another question too is, what kind of fuel would you use?

Either way, 93 or E85 youd still be better off just getting the double pumper.

Unfortunately just pump gas, there's no E85 around here...

Hey man

Here's a link in case you need it :
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-fp-black.html

People go bigger because of E85. They need much bigger injectors, because E85 has less stored energy than normal pump gas. If you are looking for 500 WHP, a double pumper might not be a bad idea. I believe a single Walbro is really at its max around 525 WHP. I just wish the double pumpers weren't so expensive

Down the road I may get a Full Blown dual hanger, but as of right now, I am all set.

I think I'll get a double pumper just to be safe and after getting a FP Black and 2.1l build, whats another $500! lol It'll take be a year or so anyway, I guess that's why they call it a project...
