FP BLack users question?
somebody need to tell Robert @fp to make up his mind and make one great turbo and be done with. Upgrading larger wheels and color every year are not going to work . Btw, he might wanna think about ball bearing instead of journal
btw, you have to send it to England!I don't even know Robert! And do the math... 4mm is good for 30-40hp. Low boost prob won't be huge difference, maybe 20...
You see, Robert can't come out with the best turbo first! That hurts business! They were all made the way they were for a reason. BB has already been built and tested. You want to pay $1100 to get your **** BB?

I think you are a joke and blab in every forum to get your post # higher!

I have 2500 post... So what? I have also been a member of this forum over a year and a half longer than you!
Thanks for respecting "some" of my post but I'm not here to impress or help you. I'm also not here to **** people off. I'm here to help people. Everyone that knows me, you are not one, will be the first to tell you I'm a down to earth person and I don't tell everyone they need a Black!
I have a black because I like the down low power and tq for a daily driver. Same reason I have a 2.4L. I just tell everyone about the success of my combo and they read my build threads and decide to do the same, not my problem, nor do I pressure anyone into buying a Black and unlike you, I don't tell them that they have a pos turbo... My car is capable of my throwing a 42R on it tomorrow and making 1000hp but I don't want to do that. 90% of evom daily drive their car and will never upgrade to a turbo larger than a 35R or have more power than 600-650hp. That is the reason why I think the Black is a great turbo for a lot of "newbies". I don't care how much you dislike the Black but making 700hp is awesome from a stock frame turbo. The Black won't hold 700hp to 8500 but I know for a fact that it can hold 615hp @25psi and can hold 25psi all the way to 8500, my car does! For anyone looking to make 600hp there is no reason to not run a Black. People don't need a 6262 or a 6765 to do that. There is no need to have your car spool at 5500 when you can have full boost at 3800. That is a fact that you can't argue!
I will be getting a 3586 soon. The only reason I have not yet is because I'm testing out a few things for Robert and for the rest of the evo community! My goal is 700hp daily and the Black can't give me that.
There is also no need for you to play the "money" game saying that people with a Black are poor and can't afford a real turbo! If you think I'm poor that's fine.

Every thread always negative...what's up with EvoM lately? Everyone has their opinions and goals I guess. I'm definitely going with a Black because I only want 500-550whp and as for the motor I'm not quite sure yet. Just do whatever set up is best for you no matter what the reason is and let everyone else worry about their own..

Not every thread is negative but leonevox has tended to try to persuade people the FB Black isn't worth it. Using the money comment is insulting to say the least. Not everyone wants spend a ton of money on a car. I myself was looking into stock frame turbos and thinking for the money a black is where its at but I have reconsidered because i may not have E85 available to me if I move back to Canada.

. What 's going on. I also mentioned this, people that have a fpblack right now, will eventually got bored, and will wanna upgraded to a bigger one soon.
my bad, i take that " money" thing back. I just dont understand BLKcarbon, first he said he love fpblack to death, now he wanna a bigger and lagger 35R turbo. He also mentioned that he doesnt like 35r.

Spool should only be a few 100rpm slower than the Black and should get me 700 daily. I have yet to see a turbo provide 650+hp daily with better spool than a Black.

BLKCarbon is actually a pretty well respected forum participant here and has a very good relationship with one of the best performance shop/tuners on evom. He was one of the first to go long rod high compression on a 2.4 and I think he is one of the first evo's running English Racing spec'd GSC cams.
You criticism of him is a little misguided.

So will he name it the FP-Carbon as a semi-nod to you?
