I live in little old New Hampshire too so a Black with 500+whp will be plenty enough fun and fast for me!

You criticism of him is a little misguided.
ok well, go ahead and get the black. Good Luck, i am done with advises with these fpblack turbo. I am happy with what i got now, that is a billet pte 6765 capable of 900whp, spooling are very fast and i am running 9s quarter all day long. And if iam on a highway, i dont have any problem catching up to big turbo Supra. And BTW, I will definitely will never changed turbo again, period. Go with the best, or just leave it bone stock. Good nite guys, Peace.

op just look at my build. if you know me i throw cash around all the time. what i want i get period the black will exceed your goals period. chances are it will want more then you can handle. You need to get a 2.3 or 2.4 to take advantage of the displacment and enhance that spool just look at the current fp black 2.4 builds going on and look at some graphs once we are done. You will change your i need a 35r talk quick. the 35r and above have there place but as mikey has said if you are on the street or road coursing or autox the faster spool along with massive power comes in handy

hello Binky, thanks for your reply...but i was reading in one of your threads that you face some problem of the turbo stud being a little long so you couldnt insert the nut when instaling the o2housing...how did you tackle that problem?

Edit** do you guys recommend an open dump housing on this turbo?
i had an open dump on my evo..but i didnt have it long enough to know if i liked it or not..??!!

Back to a question

My current plans are to get an FP black or red, FIC 1450s, and a dual pumper.
I want to keep it around ~450wtq/~500whp on E85.

I currently have a walbro 255. Do I really need a double pumper for this goal?

below 500whp, single walbro and 1450 are enough

If you are running pump a single will be fine. If you are running E85 than you will need a double pumper.
