Here is a good write up on how to properly safety wire:

Which ARP part #'s for the manifold to turbo and turbo to O2 housing bolts, studs, etc?

Question

Anyone know the correct size Nord Lock washers I need for the stock size exhaust manifold to turbo bolts/studs and for the stock size turbo to O2 housing bolts/studs? I'd like to order them right away. Thanks!

Use Stover Lock Nuts and you will never have a problem. Keep in mind they are intended to be installed and hold in place. Therefore, if you have to remove you need to chase the threads with a thread chaser and not a thread cutter. You will also need to use new Stover Lock Nuts.

Interesting solutions.

If you run extended periods on the track you will need to safety wire the bolts... I haven't found anything short of safety wire that keeps them from backing out.

M10 x 1.25 most likely 30 mm for o2 housing and 90mm for turbo to manifold?
