Hey guys I got a quick question. I had a CC 6 puck in my car and the disk took a sh*t when the input shaft seal went and oil was getting into the bell housing. Is it ok to use the CC pressure plate and install the Act 6 puck replacement disk?

it depends what condition it's in.
take it to a machine shop (or clutch shop) to see if the pressure plate and flywheel are in good condition.
Ideally you want them remachined so that the clutch will bed in properly and give you the best performance (just like new brake pads on old rotors, best to get them resurfaced.)

 

Alright thanks for the info. Also forgot to mention the pressure plate has about 800-900 miles on it and the disk brand new

 

Yeah atleast have it resurfaced by a machine shop.. If you cant take it to a clutch shop and have it spun up to make sure it isn't warped at all.
