Alternator casing..

OK Long story short

I have recently noticed that my brake and battery light was flickering. Now it just stays on. Checked the battery when car is running and it is not charging.
Checked all fuses 100, 60a and the fuses in the box.
Took out the alternator PITA... took in to auto zone and it came back good WOW. But i did notice that the casing of the alternator was holding on to one bolt and it was shaking.
So, i am assuming that when the car runs the alternator is shaking and making it not functional.
I just need some inputs from guys that ran into these issues.
BTW i am putting a different working alternator in there on saturday.
What do you guys think??

noticed mine doing this for the first time this weekend. It flickers for a quick second every so often. Doesn't stay off. I assumed alternator also.

90,000+ on my car...let me know if it's time for a new alternator or if it's something else.

How much was the alternator?
